Privacy Policy
PlotIQ is an unofficial land-record lookup app. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government or land-record department.
Information we process
PlotIQ processes search inputs such as district, tahasil, village, khatiyan, plot number, tenant name, and plot unique ID only to fetch land-record results. If you use the location feature, the app requests your current location after you tap Use Current Location and sends latitude, longitude, and accuracy to the PlotIQ API to identify nearby land-record data.
How information is used
Information is used to request public land-record data from official portals for supported states and return results in the app. PlotIQ does not require an account and does not sell personal information.
Data sources
Land records and maps are fetched from official public land-record portals for supported states. PlotIQ does not own or control those records. The relevant official portal remains the authoritative source for land-record data and for legal or official use.
Storage
The app may store recent place selections, and the plot or Khatiyan numbers you recently opened, locally on your device or browser to make repeat searches easier. The backend may keep operational logs and cache public location or dropdown data to improve reliability and reduce load on official portals.
Website analytics
PlotIQ uses Google Analytics 4 on public website content, such as the home page and land guides, to understand visits and improve the site. Google may process the public page URL, browser and device information, an IP-derived general location, and cookies or similar identifiers.
Analytics is disabled on shared-record pages and on routes that may contain land-record lookup information. PlotIQ does not intentionally send tenant names, khatiyan or plot values, shared-record tokens, precise location, or land-record contents to Google Analytics. Learn more abouthow Google uses information from sites that use its services.
PlotIQ also measures app-store badge clicks, language changes, and clicks to official sources. The custom event details include only the content language, supported state, store name, or public destination domain; they do not include land-record search terms or record contents.
