PlotIQ information
Editorial Policy
PlotIQ guides are written to help people understand public land-record information. They are educational resources, not legal opinions or substitutes for certified records.
Source standard
Procedural and factual claims should be checked against the relevant government portal, department publication, rule, manual, or service page. Third-party articles may reveal useful questions, but they are not treated as the authority for fees, legal effect, or government process.
Review and dates
Each published guide identifies its author, publication date, and most recent verification date. High-risk material involving purchases, inheritance, disputes, fees, or legal procedure requires additional subject-matter review before publication.
Privacy
Guides must not reproduce identifiable owner or tenant information. Examples and screenshots must be synthetic or safely redacted, including filenames, metadata, captions, and alternative text.
Independence and limitations
PlotIQ is independent and is not a government service. Guides clearly distinguish online reference information from certified documents and authoritative departmental decisions.
